SingleTop

27N (12SO3)

The flexible Sulphur top dressing product providing Nitrogen and Sulphur throughout the season

Calcium Sulphate offers a readily available source of Sulphur to the growing crop. Elemental Sulphur cannot be taken up directly by crops because plants only take up Sulphur in the Sulphate form.

Ammonium Nitrate is the most efficient and predictable form of Nitrogen for UK growers.

A True Granular Compound ensures even and accurate spread across the crop.

Applications:

Winter Cereals - for application where the little and often approach to Sulphur nutrition is preferred. SingleTop can be used as the sole top dressing product up to the rate of N required.

Grassland - for use in Sulphur responsive areas where high quality grass for grazing is required. Increases in yield of 25% DM can be achieved on light and medium soils. Apply
at 250kg/ha at least twice during the grazing season where P & K indices are sufficient.

Sulphur Facts

  • Sulphur is a very leachable nutrient, where large amounts are
required it is advisable to split the recommended requirement.
  • Foliar applied Sulphur is a less efficient approach to correcting
Sulphur deficiency. This is because only 2% of the Sulphur being
intercepted and absorbed through the leaf.
  • Average UK deposition of Sulphur is now around 5kg S/ha/year
    compared with 25kg S/ha/year 20 years ago.
  • Sulphur deposition is no longer measured due to such low levels.
