On the 21st July DEFRA published their response to the feedback they received during the consultation phase of the NVZ review. This can be found here:

A quick glance at the Executive Summary suggests that the original proposals stand with a few minor refinements. GrowHow have still to read and digest the contents before making further comment.
Assuming that the proposals put to parliament are duly passed and compliance is expected by January 2009 suffice to say it is going to be a busy Autumn and Winter as the development team will have to set EnCompass up to follow the new rules.
